"My very GOOD husband"

Wedding_edited_edited.jpg

Where do I begin? I remember that very faithful morning of Wednesday, March 31st , 2021 after you had had your bath and you called me to say those golden words. “Thank you for everything you do and continue to do for me. May the Lord bless you”… I never knew that would be the last words I would hear you say to me. Papo, you are indeed a VERY good man. You have a good heart. You are very humble and you would be greatly missed.

After our wedding in Liberia, I was a bit hesitant to relocate to Nigeria with you but you promised to take care of me. You fulfilled that promise to me and much more. The truth is that I never missed my family back home in Liberia because you became my closest friend, brother, father and everything. God blessed us with so many lovely and amazing children and grandchildren. It was always a thing of joy seeing you happy and joyful when with your children and grandchildren. We will all miss your jokes, prayers and support.

Your passing fills my heart with so much grief but I know you have gone to rest. You fought a good fight and kept the faith till the very end. You were so humble, compassionate and committed to the things of God. Sleep well my dear Papo. I know you are resting in the bosom of your Lord and Master, Jesus Christ. Our great Saviour whom you served till the very end till we meet again to part no more.

Your darling wife, I love and miss you.
